We started out with Avery in her weird little costume again, lording it over her father at the dinner table...
After he finished eating, Lukas joined Makenzie and Evan for a jam session:
Makenzie has been favoring the drums lately but I keep forcing her to practice guitar because she's half a skill point away from mastering it!
While the three of them jammed and Avery lorded over the dining room table, Sarah took her bike to the art museum. I have no pictures because the museum is a rabbit hole and the animations for her bike aren't working. Sigh.
Anyway, after dinner, Makenzie called the pound and adopted a puppy! Little Sophie was dropped off that evening and the woman who brought her just abandoned the puppy on the sidewalk!
I sent Makenzie out to collect poor little Sophie.
Sophie decided to bark at Makenzie and wouldn't let Makenzie pick her up and take her in the house.
A million years later, those tiny little legs finally made the trek into the house and climbed up into her ginormous "small" dog bed.
Where she slept very soundly.
She slept straight through to the next morning and woke up bright and early for breakfast.
She then became very interested in a hot dog left on the table.
After she barked at the hot dog, she played with her chew toy:
Since the kids were at school and Lukas was sleeping, Makenzie spent some quality time with Sophie. They played tug of war.
And Sophie begged for food.
After Makenzie left for work, Sophie played Chase with Evan.
Lukas left for work and we did some ghost hunting. First we removed malevolent ghosts from a house.
Then we took care of some spirits.
I have no pictures because the girls were running late, but it was also Sarah and Avery's first day of school and Makenzie got a promotion at work. She's now a backup singer.
